HeyNews reads your past newsletter issues and builds a voice profile from your tone, vocabulary, sentence patterns, section structure, and signature phrases. Every AI draft it writes uses that profile, so the output sounds like you and not like generic AI. Voice learning happens automatically when you connect your newsletter. No prompt engineering required.

Source curation is where HeyNews saves the most operator time. Point it at any blog, RSS feed, public newsletter archive, or social profile (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and others), and it pulls in new stories on a schedule. Every story gets a relevance score against your audience, and a Smart Select button picks the strongest stories for each section of your next issue with one click.

Generate a full draft in your voice, or work section by section. Refine with AI chat in plain English ("make this shorter," "add a hot take," "rewrite the intro"). Use one-click transforms to shorten, expand, simplify, or shift any paragraph between formal and casual. HeyNews also generates subject lines and preview text optimized for open rates, and lets you search and insert images directly inside the compose view.

If you run more than one newsletter, each publication gets its own AI Writer, sources, stories, and settings, with strict isolation so nothing leaks across publications. Automations let you schedule draft creation by AI Writer, weekday, time, and cadence. Smart Select runs automatically when an automation fires, the draft writes itself in the background, and the result lands in your History ready for review.
